Pre-Shoot Prep List

In order for us to work our magic and stay efficient we ask that the property be photo ready before the photographer arrives. Less is more in this instance and simplifying spaces is going to make a dramatic difference in how the home is captured.

Outside

  • Cars, 4wheelers, tractors, trailers out of the drive way

  • Lawn and garden equipment/tools put away

  • Patio and deck spaces cleaned and furniture staged with cushions.

  • Grill cover off

  • Kid toys neatly organized or put away

  • Leaves removed and snow shoveled on decks and paths if needed.

Inside

  • Turn on all lights. Ceiling, scones, under cabinet lights, and lamps. Leave fans off but their lights on.

  • Pull back all window curtains and push up all window shades.

  • Simplify all horizontal surfaces.

  • Remove Kleenex boxes, animal items and plug in night lights from all the rooms.

  • Tuck cables behind furniture, tvs, and appliances.

Kitchen

  • Counters decluttered- no soaps, sponges, rags/towels, food(fruit bowls are ok), drinks, papers/mail, dish racks, paper towels, electronics, animal bowls, trash cans, or compost bins.

Ex. Coffee maker, toaster, mixer, knife block, cutting boards, jars/canisters, utensil container and flowers.
